Gail Klein has a Master's of Science in Pharmacology from the University of Toronto and is a certified clinical research professional. Gail has more than 20 years of experience in academic research and has worked at several Toronto hospitals in clinical trials and knowledge translation. Gail is currently the operations director for the Centre for Clinical Trial Support (CCTS) at Sunnybrook Research Institute, where she oversees regulatory oversight, coordinating centre and site operations activities, in support of SRI, investigators and research teams. She is the co-chair of the President’s Task Force to Accelerate Clinical Trials, focusing on Sunnybrook’s clinical trial strategy and improvements to the clinical trial activation process. Gail is also involved in several TASHN and provincial clinical trial operational initiatives to improve the clinical trial environment in Canada.
