Dr. Lauren Kelly

Dr. Lauren Kelly is an Associate Professor in the Department of Pharmacology and Therapeutics and in Community Health Sciences at the University of Manitoba. She is a Scientist, and the Clinical Trials Director at the Children’s Hospital Research Institute of Manitoba. Dr. Kelly is the Director of the Increasing capacity for Maternal and Paediatric Clinical Trials (IMPaCT) training platform, is a Certified Clinical Research Professional and a Clinical Trialist at the George and Fay Yee Centre for Healthcare Innovation. Dr. Kelly is the Scientific Director for the Canadian Collaborative for Childhood Cannabinoid Therapeutics (C4T) a pan-Canadian research platform that studies the safety of cannabis products used for medical purposes in the pediatric population. Her team is passionate about evidence- and partners with parents, doctors, nurses, pharmacists and policy makers to design and conduct a variety of clinical research studies.
