Frequently Asked Questions

As the situation surrounding COVID-19 becomes increasingly serious in Ontario and Canada, with new measures being taken each day to prevent spread and protect the vulnerable, we have made the difficult decision to cancel the CTO 2020 virtual conference.

This decision comes with the recognition that many within the clinical trials community, especially those working in hospital and healthcare environments, are facing new and changing priorities and workloads. We understand that some of our speakers and many of our delegates will no longer be able to participate during this unpredictable time.

Facilitating knowledge exchange within our community is central to Clinical Trials Ontario’s mission of strengthening the environment for conducting high-quality clinical trials. In light of this year’s extraordinary circumstances, we are committed to hosting an expanded, three-day conference in 2021 that will include many of the sessions outlined in our 2020 agenda as well as new sessions and speakers. Please save the date for March 23 – 25, 2021 at the Hilton Toronto, where we hope to see you in person.

Additionally, we will be considering webinar and networking opportunities to support our community once the current situation with COVID-19 is behind us. Your input and suggestions are welcome.

All registered conference delegates will be receiving full refunds. We thank you for your understanding and for your support for the Clinical Trials Ontario Conference over the years.
