Diana Ermel, BScN, MV/TEd

Diana is retired from more than forty years as a Nurse Educator. In her volunteer work she is a passionate advocate for patient-oriented research and for patients having an equal voice at all health-related decision making tables, She believes patient partners can be engaged in all types of health research and in all aspects of the research cycle, including in clinical trials.

Currently, she serves as past chair of the Canadian Breast Cancer Network and represents them on the Best Medicines Coalition board. She is a patient partner on the Saskatchewan Centre for Patient Oriented Research Advisory Council and co-teaches the SPOR modules in Saskatchewan.
