Pre-Conference Workshop: Enhancing the Clinical Trial Participant Experience

In late 2019, CTO kicked off a project to better understand best practices related to clinical trials participants’ experiences. The project continues in 2020 by collaborating with the broader community to develop a ‘best practices’ toolkit. The vision is for this ‘built in Ontario’ toolkit to be adopted by the community to enhance clinical trials participants’ experiences – in Ontario and beyond.
We invite all members of the clinical trials community (including investigators, sponsors, research ethics boards representatives, individuals from contract research organizations, health charities and patient organization representatives, clinical trials participants, and others) to bring their perspectives and experiences to the workshop. The day will be used to develop resources and tools for the toolkit, building on opportunities for input and engagement that will be hosted in February.
