Lanre Tunji-Ajayi
President & CEO, Sickle Cell Awareness Group of Ontario
Lanre is a patient advocate, public speaker, researcher and consultant to the industry. She is the co-founder of the Sickle Cell Awareness Group of Ontario; and the founding and immediate past President/CEO of the Sickle Cell Disease Association of Canada. With a heart of a servant, Lanre has served her community in various roles including chair of the Network of Rare Disorders Organizations (NRBDO), Quality of Life Committee-Kerry’s Place Board of Directors and received many awards chiefly among which is the Senate Canada 150 Award and 100 Accomplished Black Canadian (ABC) Women.
