“Tools and Resources to Improve Clinical Trials through Patient Oriented Research” will provide a foundation for what patient-oriented research and patient engagement are, as well as provide tools and resources for participants to engage patients in new ways with their own work in clinical trials.
Who should attend the workshop?
The workshop is intended for people and patient partners of all backgrounds, and including new/early investigators or those who simply wish to learn more about patient-oriented research with respect to clinical trials.
The workshop will include presentations, breakout sessions, and opportunities for people to work together through case studies to help generate ideas and cement learning for their own day to day roles.

Workshop Learning Goal
From this workshop, attendees will learn more about the principles of patient-oriented research and how they can practically apply these principles (through use of specific tools and resources that will be presented) to their daily work in the clinical trials environment to help build clinical trials that are more relevant to potential participants.
