Dr. Shurjeel Choudhri

Senior Vice President and Head of Medical and Scientific Affairs, Bayer

Dr. Shurjeel Choudhri is the Senior Vice President and Head of Medical and Scientific Affairs and has been with Bayer since 1999. Shurjeel is responsible for the leadership of medical affairs, medical governance, medical operations, pharmacovigilance, and clinical project management. Prior to joining Bayer, Dr. Choudhri was an assistant professor in Medical Microbiology and Internal Medicine at the University of Winnipeg. Dr. Choudhri obtained his MD in internal medicine and sub-specialty training in infectious diseases in Manitoba. He is a passionate advocate for mobile and digital Health and for promoting Canada as a destination for clinical research.
