Dr. Aled Edwards

Based in Toronto, Aled Edwards is the CEO of the Structural Genomics Consortium an open science public-private partnership, and the founder of M4K Pharma, a drug discovery company dedicated to discovering treatments for paediatric diseases. Al will describe M4K’s public good business model, which enables the discovery and development of new medicines without patents, with the priority on affordable pricing, not profit. Al is also a Professor at the University of Toronto.
