Baldwin is a manager of the Clinical Trial Portfolio Group at Boehringer Ingelheim Canada Limited where he leads a team of clinical trial managers for both Canadian and International trials. He also oversees country feasibility activities for new trial in Canada. In addition, Baldwin is the project lead for the Blockchain in Clinical Trials pilot project, a joint collaboration between Boehringer Ingelheim and IBM. Prior to joining Boehringer Ingelheim, Baldwin led the Assay Support Group and was a Project Leader for a lead preclinical compound at Hoffman-La-Roche/Pharma Research Toronto (Formerly Arius Research Inc.). He has over 10 years of experience in discovery and development of new therapeutic compounds in both biotech and pharmaceutical companies and holds a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the University of Toronto.
