Annette McKinnon
Annette McKinnon uses her experiences as a patient with chronic disease to have the patient voice included in healthcare decision-making.
She is a graduate of the PaCER (Patient and Community Engagement Research) Course at the University of Calgary, and a partner on several research teams, as well as a Founding Member of the Patient Advisors Network which is a Community of Practice for patients and caregivers.
Other activities include serving on the Advisory Board for the Interdisciplinary Education Program at the University of Toronto, as a patient member of the UHN portal team, and as a director of the Sjogren’s Society of Canada.
