At Clinical Trials Ontario we work collaboratively with provincial, national and international stakeholders to understand and address challenges and opportunities in the clinical trials environment. CTO’s annual conference, held in Toronto, brings together members of the clinical research community to advance discussions relevant to improving the clinical trials environment in Ontario and Canada.
The conference is an opportunity to hear from a wide variety of stakeholders. Once again, this will be time for cross-stakeholder conversations.
Many improvements to the clinical trials environment are already underway and excitement about our future is building. The CTO Conference 2017 will focus on “Building Momentum: Ideas into Action”. Presentations and conversations will focus on core areas for improving the clinical trials environment including:
• The policy and regulatory framework supporting clinical/health research innovation
• Patient and public engagement with clinical trials
• Innovations in conducting efficient, high quality, and ethical clinical trials
• Infrastructure and investment: What do we have and what do we need to support a robust clinical trials environment?
Stay tuned for more information about the conference agenda, topics and speakers. And be sure to follow us on Twitter.
